House Rules
The house rules of permanent residence are the product of long experience regarding what allows people to retain their grip on the natural world and not fall into either mania or depression due to a disconnect or alienation from the natural world created by God for us. Instead of resorting to stimulant drugs like cocaine and sleep aids, we follow the natural sun/moon time table set up by God in the beginning of creation. Accordingly the Hauses are open from 8 am to 8 pm and it is recommended for those ages 14 and under and those who have had bouts of mental malaise in the past year to be in bed by ten with the lights out (except for Saturdays). People are advised to eat on a regular timetable as well.
